What are some reasons I might want Email Forwarding?

The most common use case for Email Forwarding, is if you want your email addressed to your domain, but don't want to setup email service for the domain. For example. you use [email protected] as your primary email, but you have a business that for whatever reason you don't have email setup. You create a forwarder for [email protected], or maybe sales@[email protected], and redirect that to your [email protected] address. Now when someone sends an email to [email protected] or [email protected], it would be delivered to your [email protected] account. You could then setup your gmail account to let you send email as one of those aliases.
