An EPP code (Extensible Provisioning Protocol code), sometimes called an auth code or transfer code, is a security code used to authenticate a domain transfer. When you initiate a transfer request, we ask for this code, which validates that you are authorized to make the transfer. Note that not all TLD's have EPP codes.
